Randstad is currently working with a Queensland Government department to find an Organisational Change Manager on an initial 6 month contract with potential of extension. This position is based in Brisbane CBD.

Role Overview:

As an Organisational Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery and adoption of digital and technology-enabled initiatives. You will focus on preparing, equipping, and supporting people through change to ensure new systems, processes, and ways of working are embraced and sustained. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on major ICT programs including tenancy transitions, modernisation, and cyber security uplifts within a collaborative and strategic environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement change strategies to support ICT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and structured frameworks.

  • Lead stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and business readiness activities to maximise adoption and minimise resistance.

  • Partner with Project Managers and technical leads to integrate change management into project planning and delivery.

  • Design and deliver targeted communications and training programs to equip staff with the necessary knowledge and skills for new ICT systems.

  • Monitor and measure adoption and proficiency of changes, providing detailed insights and recommendations to senior management and governance forums.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience delivering organisational change across multiple ICT initiatives with large-scale impact.

  • Proven ability to design and implement tailored change management strategies, communications, and engagement approaches.

  • Strong expertise in structured change management frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent.

  • High-level stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and manage resistance across diverse technical and non-technical groups.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting change impact assessments, training needs assessments, and managing change-related registers.
